Another video
I thought I would post this video I made last winter about my jumping exploits with Santana and my daughter and my friend Angie. As you can see Santana hadn't done much jumping so we were keeping them small, and of course he had the draw reins on. I only used them a couple of times.
This video was about a year ago and I was feeling really confident and enjoying introducing Santana to jumping. We seem to have gone a little awry somewhere along the line but I think I'm getting back there slowly. It was good to look at these videos to give me some inspiration.
You are so right Wolfie. Its really helpful to be able to see for yourself what you're doing wrong and also, over time, to see how both you and your horse have changed.
Look at you! Good grief, I am just trying to stay on at a trot and you are just a jumping machine! Good for you!
